Huge thanks to everyone who was tuned in live, this week’s show got pretty wild!! Lots of web cam viewers & lots of chat room action always make for a fun night.
But for those who missed it, click HERE to download the slightly extended show, about 2.5 hrs.
I had to beat my sound card into submission this past Monday for the State of Breaks. A bit more ghetto funk flavor this week to get everyone ready for next week’s bash on the SoB. DaNillaG from San Antonio, TX will be joining me in an all ghetto funk tag team set; so be ready to get krunk!
Thanks for tuning in last night, I hope you enjoyed the show. The Hubie Sounds Chemical Brothers Remixed Special is now available to download from the NSB Radio archives, just click the link below…
Here is yet another M Shift archive for you to sink your teeth into. The episode, number 223, was scheduled to be an appearance from M Shift “resident”, Mysterees however; someone that can only be described as “scum of the earth” had other ideas, when Ryza’s MacBook was stolen the night before the show.
Luckily, Ryza is pretty much back up and running once again now (with a new MacBook and all). I stepped in for the regular show duties, playing a solo show, containing a number of selections, of the deep and tech. house variety, floating my boat at the moment.
I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t been playing (nor buying) a lot of breaks of late, but I sincerely hope you enjoy this offering – as was the case in the chatroom – all the same.
Hey to all of my funktastic friends! This week’s State of Breaks is the start of a special I’ll be doing from time to time called “Breaks from Crates.” It is a part of the show (or the whole show) that showcases the beloved tool of choice, the vinyl record. The DJ takes a break from the digital realm and kicks it with a traditional flavor with an all vinyl set.
I just thought I’d do my Hubie Sounds promo a little earlier than usual as I’ve got an extra special show in store for you next week, so here’s an early heads up…
Next Tuesday I’m going to be dedicating the entire show to The Chemical Brothers, or more specifically, to the best remixes of their work to date. It’s more or less a year since Tom and Ed released their seventh studio album Further, and to celebrate, a group of dedicated fans and members of the Chemical Brothers Official Forum have pooled their resources and remixed each track of that album as part of the Further Remixed project.
You can download this album for free, along with specially created artwork and various other bonus tracks. For more information check out the Further Remixed website here: http://furtherremixed.org/
