These two mixes from January of 2017 are in stark contrast. The first is a more chill mix with downtempo and dubstep flavors while the second is an all out dnb barrage. The January 9th mix has tracks from the likes of Femina-X, KOSIKK, Sugarpill, Bassnectar, Sub Focus and Breakage. The January 23rd mix features Freeland, Hyper, Danny Byrd, Aquasky, Chase & Status, and two tracks by yours truly, Phylo.
Switched it up this week on the State of Breaks. In this mix we have a good helping of Glitch Hop with a heavy dose of Drum and Bass! Featuring bangers from the likes of Mochipet, Defunk, Spor, Delta Heavy, Evol Intent, Sub Focus, TC, Drumsound and Simmon Bassline Smith, and the debut of Davilone’s remix of my single, Space Age, that released earlier this week!
Hi everyone. This week I’m celebrating a milestone of sorts, my 90th show on NSB Radio! And what’s a better way to celebrate such a ‘grand’ achievement than by presenting a ’90s Special?! That was rhetorical, of course, as there’s probably a bazillion better things to do on a radio show, but this will have to do because I love ’90s music.
Anyway, for this show I will be spinning a selection of my favourite tunes, in an old skool mix-tape stylee, from what was an amazing decade for dance music. Expect to hear classic tunes by the likes of Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, The Prodigy, Massive Attack, Roni Size and loads more!
Hubie Sounds 090 – Tuesday 25th November @ 9pm GMT – live and direct on NSB Radio!
Make sure you come and say hello in the NSB RadioChatroom!

Merry late Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, and Happy Holidays in general from the State of Breaks! Due to all of the craziness that was the past few weeks I neglected to post last week’s recording. So, for the end of the year I’m posting both sets from the 19th and 26th of December. The 19th is a genre filled bash that ranges from ghettofunk, breaks, dubstep and DnB. The 26th is peppered with bass basting beats and ends with banging booty breaks! Happy New Year to all and see you on the other side.
