I’m back on NSB Radio tonight with another action-packed Hubie Sounds show.
Tonight I’ll be spinning a fine selection of fresh new beats for your ears, including a few choice cuts from Justin Martin‘s excellent new album Hello Clouds – out now on DirtyBird Records – along with the usual eclectic selection of funk, soul, hip hop and general lovely stuff.
Hubie Sounds 112 – Tuesday 24th May @ 9pm BST – live and direct on NSB Radio!
Don’t forget to come and say “hello” in the NSB RadioChatroom too.
This week on NSB Radio I’m honouring the spirit of ANZAC Day, which occurred yesterday on 25th April, when we commemorate the New Zealand and Australian men and women of wars gone by.
Don’t worry, I’m not going to be dedicating the show to some sort of jingoistic chest beating or anything too serious, instead I’m going to use this time of remembrance as a fine excuse to celebrate the great music from these two countries.
So you can expect to hear plenty of funky, dubtastic grooves from New Zealand as well as some quality house, breaks and electro from Australia, featuring artists as diverse as Freq Nasty, Flume, Pitch Black, Pendulum, Connan Mockasin, Tame Impala and loads more. It’s certainly going to be an eclectic show!
I will also be honouring and celebrating the dearly departed Prince, with a selection of tunes from his incredible back catalogue.
Hubie Sounds is back on NSB Radio tonight. This time around I’m going to present my set from last weekend’s Rockit Science Sunday Social, featuring a fine selection of funky hip hop to warm you up for the second half of the show, in which I’ll be spinning some tasty up-tempo beats from the realms of dirty house, breaks and electro.
Hubie Sounds 110 – Tuesday 12th April @ 9pm BST – live and direct on NSB Radio!
Don’t forget to come and say “hi” in the NSB RadioChatroom too.

Hubie Sounds is back on the NSB Radio interwaves this evening.
This time around I’ll be presenting a show that simply features sweet, chocolatey beats from the realms of funk, soul, hip hop, house, breaks and electro, and includes some cracking new cuts by the likes of Claude VonStroke, Tiga, Eats Everything, Oliver Dollar and loads more to get your ears oozing ahead of Easter weekend.
The Easter Hubie Sounds show – Tuesday 22nd March @ 9pm GMT – live and direct on NSB Radio!
Be a good egg and come and say “hi” in the NSB RadioChatroom too.
Tonight on NSB Radio I’m going to ease you into 2016 with a funk & soul special, featuring classic joints by the likes of Marvin Gaye, Parliament, Buddy Rich, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, The Apples and loads more to warm you up for the year ahead.
I’ll also pay tribute to the late, great David Bowie, who sadly died earlier this week, with a selection of his musical genius.
The Hubie Sounds Funk & Soul Winter Warmer – Tuesday 12th January @ 9pm GMT – live and direct on NSB Radio!
Make sure you come and rap with us in the NSB RadioChatroom too.
Seasons greetings everyone. After a slighter-longer-than-expected break from the interweb airwaves (many apologies for that), Hubie Sounds is back on NSB Radio.
Tonight I’m celebrating an auspicious event that only comes around once in a while, and it’s not Christmas… yes that’s right, it’s Star Wars!
Those of you with eyes, ears and a pulse will probably be aware that the much beloved Sci-Fi franchise returned to our cinemas last week to a great fanfare, and as a fully signed up Star Wars geek (I have the embarrassingly large Droid collection to prove it) I’ve leapt at the opportunity to dedicate this show to my favourite movie franchise.
Once again I will be presenting a show crammed full of music that has links and themes to Star Wars – as usual, some of which might be a little tenuous – but all of it will be 100% quality tuna.
Oh and I lied about the Christmas bit earlier. I will be squeezing a little bit of festive cheer (cheese) in there too, albeit with a Star Warsy twist.
Hi everyone. Tonight on NSB Radio I’ll be turning the clock back a few years and spinning a fine selection of classic breakbeat for your lovely ears, as well as a few new ones to keep things interesting. It’s been a while since I rinsed out some breaks classics on the show, so I’m sure all the breakers out there will love this one.
I’ll also spin my usual selection of funk, soul and hip hop to ease you into the evening, so there should be something for everyone tonight.
Hubie Sounds 103 – Tuesday 13th October @ 9pm BST – live and direct on NSB Radio!
Make sure you come and say ‘ez’ in the NSB RadioChatroom!
Hi team. As some of you might know, I like a bit of rugby, so I’ve been quite excited by the Rugby World Cup kicking off last week here in England.
To celebrate, I’m dedicating this week’s show on NSB Radio to tunes and artists that have at least a vaguely tenuous link to World Cup rugby, including kiwi dub by Fat Freddys Drop, Gallic house by Daft Punk, Stateside hip hop by A Tribe Called Quest, British breaks by Elite Force, plus loads more.
Hubie Sounds 102 – Tuesday 22nd September @ 9pm BST – live and direct on NSB Radio!
Make sure you come and say ‘kia ora’ in the NSB RadioChatroom!
